DOT Premium

Car rental with no deposit

At DOT a deposit is optional. With Premium protection you leave no cash and no card hold, and damage to the car is covered. If a lower daily cost suits you better, Smart protection cuts the deposit to 40%, and the basic rental has a €100 refundable deposit on most cars.

  • No hold on a credit card — handy if you travel with a debit card or cash.
  • No waiting for a deposit refund after your trip.
  • Less worry about small scrapes in car parks or on narrow coastal roads.

No-deposit rental — questions

Can I rent a car without a credit card?

Yes. You pay for the rental in cash or by card at pick-up, and with Premium protection there's no deposit, so no card hold either.

Is a no-deposit rental more expensive?

You pay the Premium plan's daily price, shown in the booking before you send it. The base rental price is the same for every plan.

What if I damage the car with no deposit?

With Premium and Smart protection, damage to the car is covered. Exceptions are theft, tyres, glass and the interior — no plan covers those.

Does no-deposit rental apply at the airport too?

Yes — the terms are the same at Podgorica and Tivat airports and for delivery to your address.
