Campsites
Proper campsites on the coast (Budva, Ulcinj, Ada Bojana) and up north (Žabljak, Durmitor). Wild camping is possible by arrangement.
Best routes
Bay of Kotor → Lovćen → Cetinje, then the north: Durmitor, Tara and Piva canyons. For the coast: Budva → Sveti Stefan → Bar → Ulcinj.
Season
May–June and September are ideal — warm sea, fewer crowds, easier parking for a camper.
Good to know
Northern roads are narrow and winding; plan fuel and water ahead. Power and waste disposal at proper campsites.
