Tivat Airport → Budva: 20 km to the riviera

How long the drive takes at peak times, what to do if you land late and which two Budva beaches are worth your first day.

20 km~30 min

For guests on the Budva riviera, Tivat is the nearest airport, and the drive to the hotel is shorter than most transfers. This is a DOT route card with realistic in-season and off-season times.

The route at a glance

About 20 km on the coast road, 25–30 minutes off-season, no tolls. In July and August — especially on Saturdays, changeover day — allow up to an hour.

If you land late

The coast road is quieter at night but narrow — keep to the right edge and don't rush. Check in advance whether your hotel has parking or you'll need a public car park.

Day one: Mogren and Ploče

Mogren is a few minutes' walk from the Old Town, and Ploče is about ten minutes by car towards Kotor. Both are a good choice for your first swim.
